For most of his life, 41-year-old marathon runner Ido Simyoni has been fighting an uphill battle against a rare bone disorder affecting his skull. Over the years, numerous interventions and complications took a major toll on the bone in his forehead. But now, thanks to two reconstructive neuroplastic surgeries performed by Dr. Netanel Ben-Shalom, Ido can finally feel (and run) whole again.
