26 years ago tonight, Starrcade ‘99 took place live from the MCI Center in Washington, D.C.! The main event saw Bret Hart retain the WCW World Championship, defeating Goldberg in a No DQ match. But the show is best remembered for the devastating moment when Goldberg’s kick caught Hart in the head, resulting in a major concussion.
