I need a USB-C hub in the glovebox to handle the USB drive for the Sentry mode/dashcam, and another to power the LED lights I want to add. I want a USB-C in the console area too.

Dec 8, 2021 · If the Tesla USB thumb drive or similar USB device is installed in the USB-A data port inside the glove box and Dashcam is set to be on (or Sentry Mode), the drive is mounted for exclusive use by Dashcam and Sentry Mode. You would need to either partition the storage device or use a USB hub.

It was recommended to me when I emailed jeda (wireless charger) for recommendations. I’ve tested it and I’m happy. It handles usb thumb drive for music, and another usb drive for the TeslaCam.
