May 21, 2018 · I did a Latin Empire run this past weekend, and no, you can't reform the Roman Empire. You need to hold the Byzantine Empire to do that. Sadly, in my game, by the time I had a dynasty heir in place to inherit the Byzantine Empire, those damned Ventians and Rumites crushed the remnant of the Byzantine state.
