A Florissant man drowned Saturday morning in the Lake of the Ozarks after his kayak overturned, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The latest update from the BLM indicates that the MM65 I-84 Fire has grown to 8,000+ acres. Evacuation orders have been lifted for the surrounding areas, and there are currently no road closures.
