NEW YORK — While Yankees captain Aaron Judge continues to ramp up his throwing but isn’t quite ready to play the field, everything about Giancarlo Stanton ’s first outfield games in two seasons have gone as well as expected.

Aaron Judge missed 10 games on the IL with a flexor strain in his right elbow and has only been able to play designated hitter because he is restricted from throwing.

There will be those who immediately feel odd about this, somehow feel like Giancarlo Stanton isn't a Hall of Famer. But if the New York Yankees slugger continues on his current track, and not even for all that much longer, he's almost a no-doubt selection. It all comes down to one magic number: 500.
