Officers found notebooks referencing at least 45 state and federal elected officials in the car of suspected Minnesota shooter Vance Boelter, according to Joseph Thompson, the acting U.S. attorney for the District of Minnesota.

The man suspected of killing one Minnesota lawmaker and wounding another is now charged with murder after police arrested him Sunday near his home after a nearly two-day search.

Boelter, 57, was arrested at about 9 p.m. June 15. He is accused of shooting the two Democratic state legislators and their spouses in the early morning hours of June 14. The Minnesota State Patrol took him into custody in rural Sibley County, roughly 50 miles southwest of Minneapolis.
