João Félix's move to Milan raised eyebrows just six months after rejoining Chelsea. But the Portuguese playmaker has had an instant impact for his current employers by all but securing their place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals against Roma.

AC Milan announced on Tuesday the signing of João Félix on loan from Chelsea for the remainder of the season. The Portugal international arrived in Milan on Monday and passed a medical before signing a contract with the Rossoneri.

Chelsea forward Joao Felix will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Serie A side AC Milan.

Felix joins Milan on a straight loan deal without a buy option, which will also include a loan fee package worth €5.5million.

AC Milan are closing in on a loan deal for Chelsea forward João Félix, a source has told ESPN. The 25-year-old is expected to move to Italy in an agreement which would see Milan pay a loan fee in the region of €2m-€3m ($2m-$3m). The Serie A club would also be paying all of his wages.

Chelsea forward Joao Felix will spend the rest of the season on loan at AC Milan in Serie A. The Italians have reportedly paid a £5m loan fee and will cover his wages, but there's no obligation for them to buy him in the summer.

Chelsea loaned out Joao Felix for a fee of just €2m to AC Milan but the Blues can make more money on the attacker through conditional bonuses.
