Bills running back James Cook, who was an active participant in Buffalo’s practices when training camp began, switched to a hold-in strategy last week as extension talks with the team drag on, an approach that continued into the preseason opener.

Pro bowl running back James Cook has recently started holding himself out of training camp practices as he seeks a new contract from the team. To this day, it has still not come. And that day we speak of is Thursday, the 12th outing of Bills training camp and the last session out at St. John Fisher University in Rochester.
