Mario Green, 53, is alleged to have shot his ex-wife, Latricia Green, in the basement of the hospital and fled from the scene. Green was taken into custody without incident shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday in the 5200 block of Lemay Street, according to a statement from the Detroit Police Department.
