The Dallas Stars may just want to wrap up their second-round Western Conference series when they have a chance in Game 6, and not let Connor Hellebuyck and the Jets get another game in Winnipeg. While the Stars have a 3-2 series lead and aren't facing elimination Saturday night at home,

I don’t think Winnipeg can eliminate the Stars. But I do think the Stars can eliminate the Stars.

Prior to Thursday, Dallas had its way in the series. The Stars won Game 1 (3-2), Game 3 (5-2) and Game 4 (3-1), but both of their losses have been shutouts. In order to knock out Winnipeg for good, the Stars need to figure things out offensively. Dallas is too talented to have such a struggle scoring.
