The U.S. Coast Guard offloaded a record 61,740 pounds of cocaine and 14,400 pounds of marijuana in what officials called the largest drug seizure in its history.

The U.S. Coast Guard announced the largest cocaine offload in Coast Guard history at Port Everglades on Monday.

The cocaine and marijuana seized had a street value of nearly half a billion dollars. It was the largest single offloading of drugs in Coast Guard history.
