Neighbors trying to take back their neighborhoods are doing what Salinas police can’t do: starting neighborhood watch programs.

The City of Salinas will next host “Constructing a Better Salinas,” a presentation by the Public Works Department, at 6 p.m. March 15 at Sherwood Hall.

Several people have reported seeing Salinas Police Department's SWAT department in Watsonville on Monday afternoon.
