Fans spent $1,000 to stay in a fancy Las Vegas report, meet the YouTuber, and get exclusive merch, but he didn't even show up.

Greenville resident MrBeast put that challenge to the test with one guy, paying him $10,000 for every day he lives in a fully-stocked grocery store.

The experience included a three-night stay at the hotel and a "mystery bag" said to include exclusive MrBeast merchandise. Meet and greets, mini-games and photo opportunities were also promised.

Dream, too, did not receive a set of merchandise, and MrBeast explained by stating that shipping them to the Minecraft sensation was "pointless" since Dream did not show his face.

Some fans complained they had to wait in hotel rooms for hours and only received clearance items from his online store in a "mystery bag" for the event.
