WWE announced that Bayley & Giulia will team to face Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade on the January 28th episode of NXT. Bayley appeared on Tuesday's NXT, where she and Giulia brawled with Perez & Jade. Trick Williams will battle Wes Lee when NXT comes to Atlanta on January 28th. The bout was officially announced on the January 21st episode of NXT.

In his first defense since becoming NXT Champion, Oba Femi defends against Eddy Thorpe in tonight’s main event. Femi won the title from Trick Williams at New Year’s Evil two weeks ago in a triple threat match that also included Thorpe. Now Femi and Thorpe will attempt to settle their issues one-on-one.

WWE and TNA Wrestling are officially in business together. On Thursday, the two professional wrestling companies announced a multi-year partnership. The partnership firmly establishes the two companies' existing working relationship.

With the arrival of February, the road to Wrestlemania officially kicks off with the first Premium Live Event of the year, the Royal Rumble.
