WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - It’s a big week for history in Wichita County as the Texas Historical Commission has approved 13 new historical markers for the area.

With Midwestern State University in consideration for a stadium of its own, it’s a good time to take a look at how WFISD is working to keep Memorial Stadium in top shape.

The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. outside of the Scheels at Towne East Square in east Wichita. The mall and Scheels were on a brief lockdown following the incident.
