As one of his last acts as transportation secretary, Pete Buttigieg stopped by Pittsburgh on Friday to tour several projects federal money had a hand in with improving our infrastructure. Some of those federal dollars are used on projects like this in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh on improvements for the light-rail system.

Buttigieg heard from representatives from the Port of Pittsburgh Commission and local businesses about their hopes for transportation in the region on a multi-stop visit on Friday.

Pete Buttigieg will visit the Pittsburgh area on Friday in one of his final trips as U.S. Transportation secretary. Buttigieg is slated to make several stops to highlight transportation resources that have received federal support under the Biden administration.
