Meta has found surprising success with its smart glasses, which were made in partnership with Ray-Ban. These glasses originally focused on letting people easily take photos and videos for social media.

Apple continues to develop its own smart glasses, as the company looks to fend off Meta’s success in the area with a competing product of its own. The Apple smart glasses – reportedly codenamed N50 – remain in development with the aim of bringing Apple Intelligence to your face.

An insider says Apple is making smart glasses with Apple Intelligence powers, though the wearable will not be ready for a few years.
