Matt Rempe, who has become a fan favorite for his willingness to drop the gloves, has re-signed with the Rangers on a two-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Ryan Donato signed a four-year, $16 million contract extension, the team announced on June 18. Donato, 29, could have become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, but instead chose to sign a deal through the 2028-29 season with Chicago.

Matt Rempe signed a two-year, $1.95 million contract with the New York Rangers on Wednesday. It has an average annual value of $975,000.
