King Charles III and Queen Camilla have endured disappointment on the opening day of Royal Ascot as their horse, Reaching High, failed to back up his status as favorite in one of the big races.

According to royal experts, Queen Camilla is maintaining a dignified silence after Prince Harry's tell-alls, choosing to instead support King Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024.

The King and Queen recalled the “thrill of victory” as they arrived at Royal Ascot for the opening day of the glamorous sporting event. Their Majesties led the traditional carriage procession as they swept onto the Berkshire course to loud cheers from the crowd.
