SEATTLE — Right-handed pitcher Jordan Hicks, who the Red Sox acquired from the Giants in the Rafael Devers trade Sunday, is on the 15-day injured list with inflammation in his right big toe but he should be back fairly soon.

The Boston Red Sox traded slugger Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants in a blockbuster deal on Sunday. Boston received pitcher Kyle Harrison (who was optioned to Triple-A), pitcher Jordan Hicks, outfielder James Tibbs III and pitcher Jose Bello in return.

The Boston Red Sox are getting blasted for trading away franchise icon Rafael Devers, but they did still get some real talent back in the trade.
