Matthew Knies made it 2-0 at 19:55 on the power play, scoring for the third straight game. After Auston Matthews ’ shot from the bottom of the right face-off circle resulted in a loose puck in the crease, Knies got inside positioning on Marc-Edouard Vlasic and jammed it in.
