The Seattle Seahawks are sending quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders in an absolute bombshell trade, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Pete Carroll moved from Seattle to Las Vegas, and Geno Smith is moving with him, too. The Seahawks have traded the veteran quarterback to the Raiders in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick, according to CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones.

Tom Brady may have had a say in the Las Vegas Raiders' decision to trade for Geno Smith. Brady was "fully onboard" with the Raiders acquiring Smith from the Seattle Seahawks on Friday, according to Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz.
