French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly preparing a €100 million bid for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.

Real Madrid is monitoring young prospects such as Jorrel Hato and Onuralp Cevikkan and is also linked to Sandro Tonali.

However, the operation won't be simple. Rodrygo is under contract with Real Madrid and has a release clause of 1 billion euros, making any departure attempt challenging. Nonetheless, PSG is confident that their 100 million offer will be sufficient to kick-start negotiations.

At the Santiago Bernabéu, the stance is firm. For years, Real Madrid has shielded its key players with contracts that include astronomical release clauses, designed to protect against state-backed clubs. This approach, implemented since 2018, aims to prevent any team from destabilizing their sporting plans with massive offers.
