The NWS has issued a lake effect snow warning for parts of upstate New York. Here's how much snow is expected.

A lake effect snow warning is posted for parts of the North Country and it could bring heavy 1 to 2 feet of snow. It looks like the greatest accumulations will be across the Tug Hill. While Watertown should see a few inches of snow,

On Sunday at 3:30 a.m. a lake effect snow warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Monday 4 p.m. until Wednesday 1 p.m. for Oswego County.

With the exception of Jan. 1, every day in the month has seen below-normal high temperatures. The cold air has been paired with snow, a pattern that continues into Sunday.
