The Florida Panthers have a 3-2 series lead over the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup Final and can claim consecutive Cups with a win in Tuesday’s Game 6.

And that was before the real hockey started. Now, more than 250 days later, the Panthers are one win away from repeating as champions, and the Stanley Cup will be in the building with their chance to extend its stay in Florida if they defeat the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6 of the final on home ice Tuesday night.

Star forward Matthew Tkachuk worked hard to return from his injury just in time for this Panthers playoff run.

That will be all that's on Barkov’s mind again when the Panthers try to close out the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6 of the Cup Final at Amerant Bank Arena on Tuesday (8 p.m. ET; MAX, truTV, TNT, SN, TVAS, CBC).

The Panthers, meanwhile, have no such issue. Bobrovsky is their guy. He has been ever since regaining the starting job midway through the first round of the 2023 playoffs, their first of three consecutive runs to the Stanley Cup Final. He is as steady as they come, and his performance has shown for it.
