Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris says in a social media post he’s OK after being taken off the field in an ambulance late in a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.

On Friday night, NFL fans held their breath as Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris was taken off the field in an ambulance. Norris suffered a scary-looking injury as he was trying to tackle Atlanta Falcons running back Nathan Carter.

The Lions provided positive news late Saturday night, saying Norris was in stable condition and had feeling and movement in all his extremities. Norris will remain at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta overnight for observation.
