The New York Giants selected Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Jaxson Dart is a talented quarterback who is at his best when he can quickly get the ball to his designed reads.

The New York Giants were able to have their cake and eat it too during the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. After selecting Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter with the No. 3 overall pick, New York traded back into the bottom of the first round, acquiring the 25th selection from the Houston Texans to bring in Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

General manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll met with reporters after the Jaxson Dart selection was made, saying that adding Dart was the culmination of a long and sometimes arduous process.
