After selecting Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter with the No. 3 overall pick, New York traded back into the bottom of the first round, acquiring the 25th selection from the Houston Texans to bring in Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

After taking Penn State linebacker Abdul Carter with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Giants were not done on Thursday. Big Blue proceeded to trade back into the first round, making a deal with the Houston Texans to acquire pick No. 25 to take Mississippi quarterback Jaxson Dart.
