A 27-year-old Detroit woman is in the hospital after allegedly getting ejected from the car she was driving Sunday morning.

A 27-year-old Detroit woman died Sunday after being ejected from her car in a crash on Interstate 94 near Woodward Avenue, officials said. Michigan State Police reported troopers were called at about 4:35 a.m. to a location on westbound I-94 near Woodward for a report of a person struck in the freeway's left lane.
