An aid ship bound for Gaza docked at Israel’s Ashdod Port on Monday after Israeli forces intercepted it and arrested all activists onboard, Israel’s public broadcaster KAN said. No details were shared about the condition of the activists on the Madleen ship.

The British-flagged yacht Madleen, which is operated by the pro-Palestinian Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC), was aiming to deliver a symbolic amount of humanitarian aid, including rice and baby formula, to Gaza later on Monday and raise international awareness of the humanitarian crisis there.

A vessel that was approaching Freedom Flotilla Coalition's Gaza-bound charity ship the Madleen has left, the coalition said early on Monday, after an alarm was sounded on the ship warning of a possible interception.
