The View co-host Sunny Hostin 's husband Emmanuel "Manny" Hostin has been named in a recent lawsuit. Emmanuel, an orthopedic surgeon in New York, is among over 200 defendants who were named in a lawsuit filed last month, which reportedly accuses The View host's husband of federal insurance fraud.

Hostin and his practice, Hostin Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, were named in a major RICO case among nearly 200 other defendants.

The suit alleges that Hostin and others received kickbacks for performing surgery and fraudulently billed the insurance company American Transit, the Daily Mail reported. The company insures Lyft and Uber drivers along with taxi companies.
