ST. PAUL, Minn. — Three people have been charged in connection with a kidnapping in St. Paul on Tuesday. Erilng Soren Holdahl, 48, Kendra Sue Johnson, 39, and Richar Sanchez Mujica, 30, have all been charged on two counts of felonious kidnapping.

Richar Sanchez Mujica, 30, and Kendra Sue Johnson, 39, have each been charged with two counts of kidnapping, while Erling Soren Holdahl, 48, is charged with two counts of kidnapping, one count of 1st-degree drug possession and one count of illegal firearm possession, according to Ramsey County court records.

Three people were charged Thursday in connection with the kidnapping of a man who was kept in a St. Paul building, allegedly in a case tied to a Mexican drug cartel.

When officers searched one suspect's phone, they found pictures of a man who appeared to be chained or handcuffed, according to court documents.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - St. Paul police took three people into custody after a reported kidnapping turned into a SWAT response. Police say they responded shortly after 2 p.m. after being tipped off about a possible kidnapping at a residence on the 700 block of Payne Avenue, just steps away from the Eastern District police station.
