Hundreds of people gathered Sunday for a peaceful demonstration at Fresno’s River Park shopping center in protest of the Border Patrol’s three-day operation in the Central Valley. Protesters arrived just after 9 a.m. at Blackstone and Nees avenues to voice their displeasure over the raids that began in Kern County earlier this week.

After border patrol agents were spotted across the Central Valley and dozens of migrants were detained, several large protests are now beginning to pop up across the region.
