Tulsa police are investigating a homicide after authorities were notified Monday that a body found in Wagoner County may be connected to the case of a man missing from Tulsa. The victim has not been identified, but police said a vehicle that had been set on fire was also possibly connected to the missing person case.

A homicide investigation is underway in Wagoner County after a man was found dead Monday morning near Porter. The Tulsa Police Department said it was notified of the body around 8 a.m., along with a vehicle that was burned nearby. Police believe the man and vehicle are connected to a missing person case out of Tulsa.

Police were notified around 8 AM on March 10 of the body and a vehicle that had been set on fire. Police say the body could be a missing man from Tulsa but have not released an identity.
