In his first public interview since being traded, NBA big man Deandre Ayton spoke up about his move to Los Angeles. As he made his opening statement to the media, Ayton confirmed that the Lakers are all-in on the championship pursuit.

Deandre Ayton and Luka Doncic began their NBA journeys in the same 2018 draft class. Ayton was the No. 1 overall pick selected by the Phoenix Suns. Doncic was picked third by the Atlanta Hawks and immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
