Currently amidst a seven-game losing streak, can the Hawks get back on track against the Timberwolves tonight?

They ended November at 13-8, a season-best mark of five games over .500. Since then, they’ve gone 2-11, and they’re in the midst of a seven-game losing streak ahead of their final game of 2025, on Wednesday against the Timberwolves.

The Miami Heat handed the Atlanta Hawks their fifth straight loss with a 126-111 win. Norman Powell scored 25 points, and Pelle Larsson added a career-high 21.

It's the Wolves' most lopsided defeat of the season, barely topping a 23-point loss to the Knicks at Madison Square Garden in early November. It's their biggest regular season margin of defeat since a 26-point loss to the Knicks in December 2024.

Another key player who will be returning for the Hawks is Kristaps Porzingis, who hasn't played since the beginning of the month. Porzingis was shut down for two weeks as he dealt with an illness, as some suspect it was the POTS illness that he had last year with the Boston Celtics.
