Prince William dropped into a pub to share a drink with a group of fellow Aston Villa fans ahead of their Premier League clash with Everton on Wednesday.Villa are eighth in the Premier league table ahead of their match against struggling Everton at Goodison Park.

Prince William checked in at Wetherspoons in Birmingham where he handed out a royal surprise to Aston Villa fans by joining them for a pre-match pint.

"This victory is very important. We have started the year winning at home, in the Premier League and in the FA Cup. Away, we were in a bad spell and had to break it."
