Marvel Comics generated buzz this morning by announcing a new comic series that would give a definitive end to the massive cliffhanger left by the '90s animated Spider-Man series.

DeMatteis told IGN that “We’re treating this as the next season of the show,” staying true to the spirit of the series while also introducing new adventures and bringing fresh foes into the mix. Spider-Man ’94 #1 arrives September 3. Will you be checking it out?
