Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand called a WEEI report about David Pastrnak being the center of a rift on the team "blatant lies."

Speculation is swirling that there is tension in the Bruins' locker room between star forwards Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak. "The locker room is a disaster, and David Pastrnak is at the center of that.

Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak both denied a WEEI report of a rift between the two Bruins stars. Pastrnak laughed it off, while Marchand’s response was much harsher. Pastrnak said Marchand alerted him before practice that WEEI’s Rich Keefe had reported on his afternoon show that Pastrnak was balking at playing with the Bruins captain because of recent bad blood between them.
