MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The man charged with killing one Minnesota lawmaker and wounding another in what prosecutors have described as a meticulously planned attack, had dozens of apparent targets, including officials in at least three other states.

Minnesota Sen. John Hoffman's wife shared an update after a shooting injured the couple at their home early Saturday morning. The family also shared a statement after the suspect was taken into custody.

Boelter has been charged with stalking and murdering a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband, and shooting another lawmaker and his wife.
