Following a state commission that narrowed down thousands of the public’s flag designs to 10, the public can now vote for their favorite.

The finalists have been selected, and voting is now open to decide your favorite redesign of the Illinois state flag. Illinois residents will be able to vote online through Feb. 14, according to the Illinois Secretary of State Office which is handling the selection.

The red, white, and blue stands both for Old Glory and the tricolor of France, which also flew over the state. Lincoln’s profile and the state’s Mississippi River boundary face off nicely against each other — but they may be hard to identify from the top of a flagpole, knocking this option out of the top spot.
