Netflix‘s next Harlan Coben adaptation has set its cast with James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver and Alfred Enoch leading the ensemble. The eight-episode series Run Away follows Simon (Nesbitt),

Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Netflix is teasing Run Away, a new limited series based on a Harlan Coben novel starring James Nesbitt. Nesbitt portrays Simon, who is father to Ellie de Lange's character, Paige.

James Nesbitt and Ruth Jones have been cast in Run Away, the new Netflix collaboration with author Harlan Coben. The upcoming eight-part series, based on Coben’s 2019 novel, sees Nesbitt play Simon Greene, a father whose world comes crumbling down after his daughter (Ellie de Lange) runs away from home.

Missing You centers on Kat Donovan (Rosalind Eleazar, best known for playing Louisa in Slow Horses ), a police detective obsessed with extracting the last remaining bit of information about her father’s murder from the imprisoned hit man (Warren) who confessed to the crime.

Quay Street Productions, who also made previous Coben hits Fool Me Once and Missing You for the streamer, will begin shooting in Manchester this month.

While Ruth's character details are out, it has not yet been revealed who Tracy-Ann will portray in the eight-part thriller - which is also yet to have a confirmed starting date. The show already boasts an impressive roster of talent including James Nesbitt, Minnie Driver, Jon Pointing, Alfred Enoch, Lucian Msamati, and Annette Badland.
