Alex Bowman and Tyler Reddick both crashed in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona, but held on to advance to the Cup Series Playoffs.

Bowman wrecked out in a multi-car pileup on Lap 27, one which claimed the cars of Bubba Wallace, Austin Cindric and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., among others. He struck the outside wall near the frontstretch tri-oval, came to a halt along the backstretch, and was towed into the garage area. The damage proved to great to repair, and Bowman finished 36th.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Tyler Reddick crashed early in NASCAR's regular-season finale Saturday night and still clinched a spot in the playoffs. How? Just nine laps later, Alex Bowman wrecked at Daytona International Speedway and, with Bowman out of the race, it automatically locked Reddick into the 16-driver field.
