Alabama made a big move up the rankings in Monday's new top 25 college baseball polls after 'arguably its best week of the season.'

The Alabama baseball team's RPI is no longer just outside the nation's top 10. After defeating the top RPI team, Georgia, in a three-game set this past weekend, the Crimson Tide ascended to No. 8. Alabama won the last two games of the home series on Sunday.

After a down pouring of runs against Georgia in the opener on Friday and the monsoons that ensued, the Crimson Tide clinched its last home SEC series of the regular season against the Bulldogs, who dropped two spots to No. 8 in the latest Coaches Poll with their first series loss to Alabama since 2015.
