As Los Angeles is coming to grips with the unprecedented destruction from this week’s wildfires, Apple TV+ and the Severance producing team have decided to cancel the Jan. 13 red carpet premiere for the upcoming second season of the acclaimed drama series, which was to be held in L.A.

There’s a strange charm to Adam Scott. Not quite the chiselled leading man, nor the obvious jester, he occupies that nebulous space reserved for the “everyman”.

Apple is using the Adam Scott thriller to try and drive new subscribers to its streaming service, following a number of moves to get its programming in front of those who may mot have sampled it.

It’s been a long three years, but there’s less than one week left until Severance Season 2 premieres on Apple TV+. When we last saw Lumon’s Macrodata Refinement department, they were scattered — and their innies were in the outside world thanks to Dylan (Zach Cherry) triggering the Overtime Contingency in a risky attempt to get to the bottom of their company’s shady activities.

Will this season be worth the gap? Critics overwhelmingly say so, and Adam Scott has predicted that the upcoming season finale will be met with thirst for a third season, but c’mon guys, let’s not wait three more years on that one.
