absolutely stunning scenery, loved taking pictures here. The staff were so friendly and polite, and told us so much about the history of the palace.Full review by Josie M

You'll be fine. The palace doesn't get too busy, unless there's a number of Outlander coach groups arriving all at once - or you plan on visiting on Jousting Day. What I would say though, is a Historic Environment Scotland membership is pretty cheap if you plan on visiting other things (nearby Edinburgh Castle, Blackness Castle, or Doune Castle, for example)
